Jeddah: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf held a meeting with Saudi Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah in Jeddah on Sunday.
Both the sides discussed this year’s Hajj arrangements in detail.
Sardar Muhammad Yousaf expressed gratitude to the Saudi Minister for excellent facilities being extended to the Pakistani pilgrims.
He noted that the Saudi government has been consistently introducing innovations and modern services in the arrangements every year, aimed at ensuring a comfortable pilgrimage for the Hujjaj.
The Federal Minister informed that Pakistani pilgrims are being provided with quality food, transport, and accommodation facilities.
Sardar Yousaf further stated that efforts are afoot to expand Makkah Route initiative to other major cities of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Saudi Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said his Ministry is striving to improve services for pilgrims through a comprehensive digital system.
He highlighted that the best possible facilities will be ensured for Pakistani pilgrims in Mina and Arafat, adding that private companies are also being encouraged to enhance services in Mashair-e-Muqaddasah.
The Saudi Minister also reaffirmed that serving the large number of pilgrims from Pakistan is an honour for the Kingdom.،
