Renowned Chef Zakir laid to rest in Karachi

Karachi: Renowned Chef Zakir Hussain buried in Saudabad, Malir, graveyard on Tuesday, today, with tears and sorrows.

Zakir Hussain funeral prayers was held at Jamia Rashidiya, Malir Tonkey where his relatives, area residents, personalities from electronic media cooking industry took part in a large numbers.

He was died yesterday night owing to Kidney disease.

Chef Zakir was born in Karachi on February 16, 1967. He became house hold name owing to his culinary extra ordinary skills and his presence in cooking shows on various TV channels of the country.

As per his family, the chef had been suffering from kidney disease and was undergoing dialysis treatment in the United S tates.

Unfortunately, doctors informed the family that his condition was no longer treatable.

Following this, Chef Zakir returned to Pakistan around a month ago to spend his final days at home.

Chef Zakir was celebrated for his unique style of cooking and his remarkable recipes, which earned him a loyal fan-base not only in Pakistan but across the world.

His contributions to Pakistani cuisine and television will be remembered for generations.

Fans and fellow chefs are mourning the loss of a true kitchen maestro.
