KARACHI: Human remains found in two plastic bags near Lasbela Bridge on Tuesday, sparking panic in the area. Upon receiving the alert, rescue teams rushed to the scene and retrieved the body parts.
Rescue officials confirmed that the head of the body was missing. The remains were transported to the hospital for legal formalities.
The discovery follows another grim finding a day earlier, when human remains were found near Paracha Cemetery in Qasba Colony, Karachi. Police believe the remains may belong to a woman, as a severed female head had been found near a drain in the same area just a few days ago. The body parts were sent for a post-mortem, though police officials indicated that the condition of the remains made it difficult to identify the victim.
