LAHORE: A resolution condemning Bushra Bibi’s recent statement against Saudi Arabia presented in the Punjab Assembly on Friday.
The resolution, submitted by Shoaib Siddiqui, General Secretary of the Istehkam Pakistan Party, characterized her remarks as a deliberate attempt to damage the long-standing and strong relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. It further stated that Bushra Bibi’s comments were designed to create obstacles for Pakistan’s foreign policy and undermine its national interests.
The resolution called for an immediate investigation to uncover those behind orchestrating the statement, suggesting that Bushra Bibi’s remarks were made under the direction of Imran Khan in a bid to disrupt the growing ties between the two nations.
Siddiqui emphasized that the enduring relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia had withstood various challenges over the years, with Saudi Arabia consistently offering invaluable support to Pakistan during times of need.
