LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) on Tuesday submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly against nominating Maryam Nawaz as Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz vice president.
According to details, the resolution was submitted by PTI lawmaker Musarat Jamshed Cheema.
“PML-N has violated the Supreme Court’s order by appointing Maryam Nawaz as vice president,” states resolution.
Maryam has got temporary relief in the suspension of sentence in the reference case, it further added. Earlier on May 04, PML-N appointed Maryam Nawaz as party’s vice president.
