New York: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has left the United States for returning home after successfully completing his visit with reference to a Palestine diplomatic peace mission that he undertook on special instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Asad Majeed Khan and senior officials bid a farewell to the Foreign Minister.
He said that Palestine issued existed on security council agenda while he stressed the international community to play its due role to solve the Palestine dispute.
Peace can not be established in Middle East without solving Palestine dispute, he added.
Addressing activists of PTI in New York, FM Qureshi said that along with Palestine issue Kashmir dispute is also on the security council agenda. He said that his Egyptian and Palestenian counterparts informed that his efforts bore fruits for normalizing escalated situation between Palestine and Israel.
He said that he is returning to country after success of Palestine mission.
