BANGKOK: At least 25 people were killed when a van caught fire after colliding with a pickup at Ban Bung district of Chonburi province on Monday.
According to the details a minivan and a pick-up truck both packed with passengers collided at Ban Bung district.
Police said that the minivan driver lost control after making U-turn and plunged into oncoming traffic. Both vehicles caught fire after the accident.
Police said that in van, 14 people were killed and one person survived. While in the pickup truck, two children among 11 were killed and one person survived.
Rescue officials shifted the bodies and the injured to the hospital.
