Lahore (Sep 4, 2017): A Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker has submitted a resolution in Punjab Assembly against the consistent persecution and massacre of Rohingya Muslims by Myanmar military and with Buddhist monks.
The resolution submitted by PML-N lawmaker Hina Pervez Butt has urged United Nations, UN Security Council and international human right originations to take notice of the massacre of Rohingya Muslims by the regime forces and Buddhist monks.

The resolution said that the massacre and ethnic cleansing of the Rohingyas was a slap on the face of Nobel peace prize winner leader of Myanmar Suu Kyi.

The resolution further said that on a single day 2600 houses of Rohingya Muslims were burned to ashes, adding that Rohingyas were not being given citizenship and were being force to flee the country.
The motion further states: “This house support Turkish President’s demand for Bangladesh to open its border for the fleeing Rohingyas .”
It is to be mentioned here that earlier PTI has submitted adjournment motion in NA demanding house debate on the persecution and massacre of the Rohingyas.
