Islamabad: Government on intervening night of Thursday and Friday announced hike in petroleum prices for next fortnightly starting from today September 1 to September 15.
According to ministry of finance the ministry with the approval of caretaker Prime Minister Anwar Ul Haq kakar has set petrol price Rs 305. 36 per litre.

On the other hand, Rs 311.84 per litre will be the new price of high speed diesel.
The government has increased Rs 14.91 per litre in petrol price while an uptick of Rs 18. 44 per litre okayed for High Speed Diesel.
Meanwhile, the government also fulfilled condition of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) by setting levy on petrol Rs 60 per litre and Rs 50 per litre on high speed diesel.
