Islamabad: An accountability court of Islamabad on Tuesday heard Rs 8.3 billion suspicious transaction case against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
The ac judge Syed Asghar Ali heard the case while Asif Zardari appeared before the court.
The court again issued summon notice to co-accused Mushtaq as he didn’t appear before the court.
During the course of the hearing Judge asked the NAB investigation officer (IO) which area from the accused Mustaq belonged to and what his home adress. To which the IO NAB apprised the court that the accused is belonged to Shikarpur area in Sindh while the NAB also has his Karachi home address.
To which the court directed the NAB to send notices to the accused on both of his addresses.
Farooq H Nayik submitted a power of attorney as a counsel of Asif Ali Zardari.
Later the court adjourned the hearing until July 27.
