Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has demanded to give whole of local body government to China on contract adding that if private companies were better than PPP should also be handed over to private company.
Sindh Assembly meeting was held in chair of speaker Agha Siraj Durraini where the MQM raised matter of handing over of public parks to private companies.
As the MQM raised the issue rumpus created in the assembly and MQM, PPP members hurled accusations on each other.
Moreover, after the session, talking to media Opposition leader Khawja Izhar Ul Hassain said that ” local body minister does not know Urdu but knows Chinese well” adding that “Now China will clean Karachi and we cannot do it “, he said.
The opposition leader said that “Sindh government should hands over local body ministry to China on contract if not the provincial government” because the local body ministry is not working well in the minister charge.
Izhar said that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto park was constructed in sum of Rs 220 million but the park on her name ,nowadays, animals were roaming in the park. He said that they could not run Benazir Bhutto park how they could run other things.
He said that those elements alleging MQM for China Cutting were grabbing lands in Surjani and Orangi Town.
