Islamabad: Pakistan rupee on Wednesday appreciated by Rs 1.70 against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 223.93.
Yesterday the dollar was closed at Rs 225.63 in the inter-bank market.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying rate of the greenback was recorded at Rs 226 while its selling rates in the open market was recorded Rs 228.
