Russia to raise ambassador’s assassination in UNSC  

MOSCOW: Russia has decided to raise the assassination of its ambassador to Turkey in the United Nation Security Council.

This was decided in the urgent cabinet meeting chaired by the President Vladimir Putin after the killing of Andrei Karlov, the Russian ambassador to Turkey, said foreign office spokesperson. Russia termed the ambassador’s killing as terrorism.

According to the details, a police officer gunned down Russian ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov at an art exhibition on Monday. The police officer shouted, “do not forget Aleppo” and opened fire on him.
