Rahim Yar Khan (June 5, 2017): A speeding truck mowed down five women near National Highway here.
According to eye witnesses the gruesome accident occurred when the women who work in fields were getting out of the rickshaw were ran over by a speeding truck from behind. Three womn died on the spot while two others were seriously injured and wer rushed to Shaikh Zaid Hospital where they two are reported to be in critical condition.

The three women who died in the accident are identified as Ghulam Fatima, Shehzadi, and Razia.
According to police the truck driver responsible for the accident managed to flee after the accident. The truck was impounded by the police.
