Saba Rashid from Karachi achieves a Guinness World Record in martial arts

WEB DESK: Saba Rashid, the wife of Guinness World Record holder Rashid Naseem, has made history as Pakistan’s first martial artist to achieve a global record in the nunchaku category.

Her record, officially acknowledged by Guinness World Records, was achieved by performing a figure-eight motion with nunchaku 138 times in one minute, surpassing the previous record of 120.

Earlier, Saba Rashid outperformed India’s Kiran Uniyal, renowned for holding the highest number of Guinness World Records in India.

Guinness World Records officially verified this achievement under a newly established category, with confirmation received via email.

Saba Rashid belongs to a family of record breakers. Her husband, Rashid Naseem, is Pakistan’s leading Guinness World Record achiever, while their daughter has secured eight records in the female category.

In an extraordinary feat, their son also earned a Guinness World Record at just six years old.

Additionally, Rashid Naseem’s father has contributed to the family legacy with multiple Guinness World Records for Pakistan.

The accomplishments of this remarkable family underline their dedication to martial arts and bring global recognition to Pakistan in the field.
