Lahore: It is likely that Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan will step down from her post.
According to sources, Firdous Ashiq Awan decided to resign to take part in the by-elections.
A statement issued by Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that she would resign to participate fully in the by-election campaign in Sialkot.
