Karachi (August 23, 2018): Second day of Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated with great religious zeal and fervor to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (AS). Pleasant weather of Karachi has doubled the joys of Eid for citizens.
The people who couldn’t sacrifice their animals yesterday due to engagement of butchers or some other reasons, are slaughtering cows, goats, and camels today. People are distributing sacrificial animal meat among the poor and relatives.

The Solid Waste Management Company has alerted its staff to take away offal and later bury it in open fields outside of residential places. In addition, the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has taken special measures for continuous water supply to the citizens on Eid days.
On the other hand, light drizzle in Karachi doubled the joy of Eid for Karachiites. University road, scheme 33, Gulistan e Jauhar and many other areas of the city witnessed pleasant weather after drizzle.
The families and children have planned picnic and parties with relatives and friends, while BBQ parties are also being enjoyed.
