KARACHI: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari lashed out at the contemporary Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led Government after the CTD shootout incident at Sahiwal.
The PPP Chairman said that the recent mournful event in Sahiwal where the entire family was killed in name of ‘terrorist elimination’ is the result of PTI’s wrong governance.
He blamed the governing party for transforming Punjab into a ‘Police State’. Further, Bilawal was quoted saying, “Announcements of investigation of Sahiwal tragedy by the government are mere attempts for headlines’ grabbing”.
“Sahiwal firing incident is a message that citizens should not go out of their houses with their children in Naya Pakistan,” he said in a statement.
The PPP Chairman, carrying on with his usual rant against the government, stated that nothing will happen by suspending SSPs or IGs. He asserted, “Suspension of officials will not bring justice to the people.”
Furthermore, Bilawal Bhutto also taunted the Prime Minister Imran Khan for imposing ‘laws of the jungle’ in his Naya Pakistan.
