LAHORE: Lahore High Court accepting a plea from the brother of deceased Khalil of the Sahiwal incident has ordered to shift trial of the case from Sahiwal to court in Lahore.
Chief justice Lahore High Court Justice Sardar Shamim Ahmed Khan heard the petition filed by the brother of Khalil in which it was insisted to transfer the case from Sahiwal to Lahore.
During the hearing, all the counsels of all parties of the case including accused police personnel agreed the petitioner’s demand.
The petition mentioned that the trial of the Sahiwal incident was being conducted in the Sahiwal and the people related to the case including the petitioner faced with difficulties.
The court accepting the argument ordered to transfer the trial to the court in Lahore.
