Karachi (October 11, 2017): Anti-Terrorism Court hearing the case pertaining to medical treatment of terrorists has allowed former leader of MQM Saleem Shahzad to go overseas for medical treatment.
Saleem appeared before the court which heard the case today and plead it to grant him permission to proceed overseas for medical treatment. The ATC granting Saleem’s plea permitted him to proceed overseas for medical treatment.
It may be mentioned here that on the third of this month Additional District & Session Judge had restored Saleem Shahzad’ interim bail in cases lodged at Khokarapar police station of the city.
It may also be mentioned here that Saleem Shahzad had approached the Sindh High Court, which had granted him bail on Rs 75,000 surety bonds after the ATC had revoked his interim bail for failing to appear before it. The Additional District & Session Court had restored his bail after the submission of the written order of the Sindh High Court.
