ISLAMABAD: Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, presided over a high-level meeting in Islamabad to assess the performance and future initiatives of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF).
The meeting was attended by key figures, including the Secretary of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, the Director General of the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment, the Managing Director of OPF, the Chairman of the Board of Governors of OPF, and other senior officials from both the Ministry and OPF.
During the discussion, the Minister reviewed significant initiatives, including the development of the PAKTOK app. He also proposed a logo design competition among the Ministry’s attached departments, with the winning team receiving recognition for their contributions.
Emphasizing the importance of making OPF a profit-generating entity, Minister Salik Hussain called on all stakeholders to intensify their efforts in this direction.
The meeting concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to and from the Chair.
