ISLAMABAD: PTI leader Salman Akram Raja met with Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Yahyah Afridi, in a session lasting over half an hour.
Sources reveal that during the meeting, Salman Akram Raja conveyed PTI’s grievances and concerns directly to the Chief Justice.
The meeting comes after Salman Akram Raja and KP Chief Minister Sulaiman Khan visited the Supreme Court in an attempt to meet former Prime Minister Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, which was not granted.
They also held discussions with the Registrar of the Supreme Court and the Attorney General, accompanied by PTI representative Lutfi Khoso.
Speaking to the media, Sulaiman Khan highlighted that the situation has progressed from an operation to transferring Imran Khan from Adiala Jail to PIMS Hospital, yet they have not received clear information.
He further stated that PIMS Hospital lacks retina specialists and that they plan to wait at the Chief Justice’s chambers for further updates.
