WEB DESK: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received a new threat, warning that his car will be blown up with a bomb.
According to Indian media reports, a threatening message was sent this morning to the Mumbai Traffic Police helpline by an unidentified individual.
In the threatening text, the unknown sender stated that “Salman Khan will be killed inside his house, and even his car will be blown up with a bomb.”
Police have confirmed that an FIR has been registered regarding the threat, and an investigation is currently underway.
It is worth noting that Salman Khan is currently residing with his family at Galaxy Apartments in the Bandra area of Mumbai. Last year, shooters linked to the Bishnoi gang opened fire at the same residence, after which security around the actor’s home was significantly increased.
This is the fifth time in the past two years that Salman Khan has received a death threat.
