Mumbai: Rubina is one of the most sought-after actresses in the telly world, recently invited former actress, Sana Khan at her podcast Rubina Dilaik to discuss the challenges of motherhood that she faced as a new mother.
For the uninitiated, Sana Khan quit the film industry to get married to Maulana Anas Saiyed. After her intimate nikah with Mufti Anas, Sana and Anas embraced parenthood on July 5, 2023. The couple welcomed a baby boy, whom they named Saiyad Tariq Jamil.
As Sana graced the podcast, the two actresses discussed various aspects of their motherhood journey.
However, during a segment of the show, Sana talked about modesty and stated that every man likes his wife to stay modest. Elaborating on the same, the former actress stated:
“Kabhi Kabhi mai aese mardon ko dekhti hoon to mujhe ajeeb lagta hai ki tum kaise aone biwiyon ko itne chuntu puntu kapde pehnakar baahar leke chale jaate ho and they feel proud about it.”
As soon as the clip was shared on Reddit, people started criticising not just Sana for her regressive statements but Rubina too for inviting Sana.
Rubina, who herself is known for her feministic approach was badly bashed by netizens for keeping mum on Sana’s statements. On the other hand, people also pointed at Sana and asked her whether she had forgotten her past.
