MOHMAND: Former Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar Addressed to Mohmand Dam’s groundbreaking ceremony here on Thursday.
As per details, addressing to the ground-breaking ceremony of Mohmand Dam former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) said that he is feeling an immense pleasure as the government honoured him to attend the ceremony.
“I am very thankful to the people particularly overseas Pakistanis who donated their precious earnings to the dam fund,” said Saqib Nisar.
“I am also thankful to those who donated their land for the cause as it’s the biggest sacrifice,” added Nisar.
“The prime issue is to maintain transparency in the process and I urge the government to find a way to ensure the transparency in the entire project,” he further added.
“My heart is still with the people of Pakistan and will always remember them in his prayer,” he said.
“It was not my effort, it was a collective effort of the Supreme Court and people participated in it with open hearts,” he concluded.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Dr. Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan were also present on this auspicious occasion.
