Islamabad: The district and session court on Thursday announced reserved verdict in the Sara Inam murder case as the court handed death penalty to Shahnawaz Ameer whereas Rs one million fine also imposed on him.
The district and session court Judge Nasir Javed Rana pronounced verdict while the court ordered to set free an accused in the case Samina Shah over the lack of an evidence.
The court had reserved the judgment on December 9.
The deceased Sara Inam father, Inam Ur Rehman, father and mother of convicted Ayaz Ameer , convicted Shahnawaz Ameer and Samina Shah were present in the court.
Shahnawaz Ameer had murdered his wife Sara Inam on December 23 in Islamabad.
