Karachi: Sarif Burni, who runs Sarim Barni welfare trust, has been arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency FIA’s anti human trafficking cell.
According to the FIA, there are highly serious allegations against him.
As he reached the country from America, he was arrested by the FIA anti human trafficking cell.
He has been under watch for long period.
Sources of FIA said that Sarim Burni has allegations of illegally sending more than 25 children to America.
Sarim Barmi and his trust adopted children illegally while the children were handed over to him and his trust in different times.
The allegations of smuggling 17 children to America has surfaced, the FIA sources said.
Sarim Burni has been arrested on a complaint of the government of United States of America (USA).
On the other hand, Sarim Burni has denied allegation leveled on him.
In his video message, he said “I will answer the people after coming to the country”.
He said that he indulged in mud-slinging and he will not remain silent on it.
