ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia has Decided to Continue Supplying Petroleum Products Worth $100 Million Monthly on Deferred Payment Terms
A meeting of the Federal Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister, was held, during which the cabinet was briefed on the implementation of e-office in ministries. It was reported that the implementation of e-office in 39 divisions has been completed 100%.
The Prime Minister instructed the completion of digitization in government institutions. The Federal Cabinet also approved the signing of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
The Cabinet approved the appointment of Kamran Jahangir as Managing Director of the National Book Foundation, the nomination of six members for the National Commission for Human Rights, and an extension of the agreement on Somalia’s National Identity System.
The Cabinet also approved the appointment of Dr. Shahid Aslam Mirza as Managing Director of the Korangi Fisheries Harbor Authority and the formation of a commission to investigate irregularities in the Pakistan Engineering Council elections.
The Prime Minister informed the Cabinet about a letter from the Saudi Crown Prince and stated that Saudi Arabia has decided to continue supplying petroleum products worth $100 million monthly on deferred payment terms.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s support and emphasized that Saudi Arabia has stood by Pakistan in every difficult time.
