WEB DESK: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is scheduled to visit Washington and meet with President Donald Trump at the White House on November 18, according to a White House official.
During his visit, Saudi Arabia is expected to organize a US-Saudi investment summit in Washington on November 19, a source informed Reuters. The summit is planned to occur alongside the crown prince’s trip but will not be part of his formal agenda, the source noted.
While both Trump and bin Salman may possibly attend the summit, their participation is not currently included in the official program, the source added.
The crown prince’s visit coincides with Trump’s ongoing efforts to encourage Saudi Arabia to join the Abraham Accords and establish normalized relations with Israel.
