WEB DESK: The Financial Times has revealed that Saudi Arabia is in talks with the United States over a potential defense agreement, which may be finalized during Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Washington next month.
The report highlights that these discussions include considerations similar to the recent Qatar-U.S. agreement, where an attack on Qatar was deemed equivalent to an attack on the United States.
The British publication also noted a statement from the U.S. State Department, emphasizing that defense collaboration with Saudi Arabia remains a central element of their regional strategy.
