RIYADH: Saudi Arabia and Qatar have strongly criticized the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, reaffirming their support for Pakistan and expressing solidarity with its people.
In an official statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed grave concern over the violent incidents, condemning the acts of terrorism and underscoring Riyadh’s continued backing of Pakistan’s efforts to combat extremism.
The statement emphasized that Saudi Arabia stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistani government and nation in rejecting terrorism in all its forms. It also commended Pakistan’s security forces for their effective and coordinated operations aimed at preserving peace and stability.
Meanwhile, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a separate condemnation, firmly rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal activities regardless of their reasons or justifications.
The Qatari statement conveyed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and extended sympathy to the government and people of Pakistan. It also offered prayers for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attacks.
Both Saudi Arabia and Qatar reiterated their unwavering opposition to terrorism and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting regional peace and security.
