Karachi: The implementation on Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and Commissioner Karachi have started as in wake of tropical storm biparjoy preparation for evacuation from dilapidated buildings underway.
Sindh Building Control Authority (SCBA) has declared 500 building intensely dilapidated. As many as 13 buildings have been declared dangerous in the District East while 66 in the District Central.
At least 14 buildings have been declared dilapidated in Korangi while 23 in Kemari, 4 in Malir. Besides that the highest umber of buildings 456 declared dilapidtated in district South while two were declared sensitive in the District West.
The orders for evacuation of the people from the buildings have been issued.
The SCBA cancels its technical staff leaves owing to tropical cyclone Biparjoy also while the SBCA also issued schedule of its technical staff emergency duties.
