Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has issued new currency notes for distribution on Eid Ul Fitr among masses on exchange of old notes.
In this connection, the SBP has issued the new currency notes to all private and commercial banks.
According to the SBP, as many as 17 thousands of various banks branches across the country has been provided new currency notes of worth Rs 27 billion.
It is Muslims tradition to distribute Eidi, rupees, amount to younger people and children.
On other way to say elder of a family distribute new notes of currency note to younger ones of the family.
