Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Monday retained interest rate at 22 percent while Governor SBP Jamil Ahmed said that the inflation rate will gradually decrease.
Addressing a presser Governor SBP Jamil Ahmed issued the monetary policy today.
The Governor apprised that a monetary policy committee meeting was held in which it reviewed the economic sitution of the country.
The committee decided that the monetary policy will remain retain at 22 percent for the next two months.
He apprised that foreign reserves improved enough which can be seen through the figure of foreign reserve.
