SC introduces online public portal, designed to provide access to judicial information.

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Tuesday introduced a Public Facilitation Portal designed to improve accessibility to justice and judicial information for citizens. This initiative was launched following a special directive from the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Accessible via the official Supreme Court website under the name Public Portal, the platform aims to provide quick and user-friendly access to court-related services and information.

The portal enables individuals to search for case details through various criteria, such as name, case number, or application type. Additionally, the 1818 helpline offers direct assistance, providing users with guidance and technical support.

Key features of the portal include a Feedback section for submitting complaints and suggestions, a dedicated Overseas Litigants Portal catering to Pakistanis residing abroad, and a separate function to report corruption.

The Supreme Court emphasized that this initiative represents a significant step in making the justice system more accessible, allowing citizens to conveniently utilize judicial services from any location.
