The chief justice inquired as to why no progress is being made in bringing back Haqqani from United States and when he will be brought back. To this, the additional attorney general sought for more time from the apex court.

The director general of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), who appeared before the court today, said that the judicial magistrate had handed them the arrest warrants that were issued by the court earlier. He assured the court that the warrants will be sent to Haqqani’s residence in Karachi and Washington.
