Islamabad (April 04, 2018): The Supreme Court of Pakistan has wrapped up the contempt of court case against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan.
The case was heard by three-member SC bench headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Wednesday.
“The case did not end and it is still alive and if petitioner wants the case can be reinstated within a month,” Chief Justice said in his remarks after announcing wrap up of case, which was ended after petitioner’s continuous absent.
It is learnt that on Friday a petitioner filed contempt of court petition against Imran Khan saying that Imran Khan has used derogatory language against former Chief Justice Ifikhar Chaudhary alleging he was indulged to use their powers to influence election 2013.
On which former Chief Justice has filed defamation suit against Imran Kan while Imran Khan has been challenged the case in Islamabad High Court.
