Islamabad: Federal Ministry for health has written a letter to the Ministry of Finance as scarcity of drugs and medicines feared.
The letter reads that if LCs were not opened from raw material of the medicines then crisis will emerge. The ministry health further apprised in the letter that the companies have stock for a few weeks.
On the other hand, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has said that those banks be identified who are not opening LCs for pharmaceuticals import.
