Karachi: Scorching heat uptick in gastrointestinal and stomach diseases as 1600 to 2000 patients admitted to a hospital just in one single day.
The hospitals are crowded with diarrhea and gastrointestinal patients owing to which the hospitals are burdened with patients.
The medics have advised the people to observe caution.
The hightened tempratures have disturbed the citizens of the city as a rise in stomach diseases is being witnessed in the metropolis.
According to Medical Superintendent (MS) of the Civil Hospital Karachi, Dr Khalid Bukhari said that as many as 1600 to 2000 patients are coming to hospital after suffering from stomach diseases.
The MS said that the heat has intensified while advising the citizens to avoid going outside unneccessarily.
He also advised that keep cloth at head and observe caution in eating.
Dr Khalid Bukhari apprised that eating freeze food of fridge are causing stomach diseases, hence, the citizens should use fresh food and boil water and avoid eating food from outside.
