Islamabad: The search operation for missing climbers including Pakistan renown Ali Sadpara and two other foreign climbers has been delayed due to harsh weather conditions on fourth day.
All the preparations for the search operation for the fourth day are ready, however, the operation has been delayed owing to bad weather conditions on K-2 and Baltro region.
According to Alpine Club the ground search operation temporarily is suspended. It is decided to carry out search operation on the highest peak of the K-2 as the weather clears.
Beyond the height of 8000 peak, whole of death zone will be filmed through modern cameras fixed in the helicopter. Son of missing mountaineer, Ali Sadpara, Sajid Sadpara will also be part of the search operation.
Ali Sadpara and other two foreign climbers lost their contact from the base camp on February 5 in a quest to summit the K-2 in the winter season. After which the search operation had been started.
Sajid Sadpara was also along with his father part of the team but due to lack of oxygen he had to come back to base camp from camp 3.
