Islamabad: A special team has been formed to search Pakistani mountaineer Ali Sadpara and other mountaineers while with the help of four local mountaineers search operation started today.
Sources said that for the search operation on the second day two army helicopters and rescue team have reached Baltaro sector.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ali Sadpara and his team who were summiting K-2 in cold weather have lost contact from the ground since Friday.
A search operation was also continued yesterday.
Ali Sadpara and his teams were searched yesterday on a height of 7000 meter adding that the weather is harsh and winds are fast pace.
The rescue operation faced difficulties due to speedy waves and winds on K2.
