Islamabad (31 October, 2017): Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) registered 562 new companies during current fiscal year.
Policy board meeting of SECP held under chair of Secretary Finance Division Shahid Mahmood highlight that 562 new companies registered during current fiscal year.
Secretary Finance Division approved SECP annual report and audited annual accounts.
Secretary Finance Division was briefed about current economic activities under SECP. Meeting discussed the massive increase in the number of new companies was the direct result of various reform measures introduced by the SECP, including introduction of a swift incorporation process, assistance of incorporation.
14 percent increase witnessed in the income of SECP and expenses reduced to 9 percent, meeting explained.
