Pakistan decides to boycott all hockey events to be held in India

Following India’s stubborn over Pakistan’s entry in India and deprived Pakistan to participate such an international event Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has decided to boycott all hockey events in India in future.

Pakistan Hockey Federation Secretary Shahbaz Senior has said that he will try not to attend any event to be held in India. He said that letter has been written to Pakistan Olympics Association on the matter of Junior World Cup, adding that PHF will raise the matter to international level.

Addressing the press conference in Lahore, Secretary PHF Shahbaz Senior said that India not giving visas to Pakistani team for Junior World Cup is inappropriate for international hockey. Narendar Batra being FIH President will damage hockey game. He said that Pakistan will not play in any event to be played in India and will try to hold such major events outside India.

Shahbaz Senior said that he is in contact with Pakistan Olympics Association in this matter and will raise the matter to International Olympics Committee with the help of POA.

Secretary PHF further told that team camp was ended after consultation with National Junior Hockey Team Head Coach Tahir Zaman.
