Karachi: Commissioner Karachi Hassan Naqvi has imposed section 144 in Karachi for two day October 18 and 19.
The notification for the imposition of the section 144 has also been issued.
As per under the section 144 and notification , gathering of more than five people at a place will be banned.
All types of rallies and processions are also banned while before this section 144 was also imposed from October 13 to October 17.
The notification for imposition of section 144 was issued yesterday while the section 144 has been imposed on a request of Inspector General (IG) police Ghulam Nabi Memon.
It is also pertinent to mention that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced a countrywide protest against the constitutional amendment.
