Lahore: Section 144 has been imposed in Punjab for a two days from October 18 and 19.
Under the imposition of the section all types of protest, rally, procession are banned. Home Ministry Punjab has issued a notification in this regard.
The decision has been taken for maintaining law and order situation and owing to security risks.
Earlier, the Punjab government has officially declared a public holiday for all educational institutions on Friday, October 18. This closure applies to both public and private schools, colleges, and universities across the province.
