RAWALPINDI: Police have completed foolproof security arrangements for Pakistan and New Zealand cricket series. About 4,000 officers and personnel will perform security duties. According to a Rawalpindi police spokesman, about 4,000 officers and personnel will be on security duty for the Pakistan and New Zealand cricket series, while about 350 traffic officers and personnel will be on traffic duty. Elite Commandos Dolphin Force, District Police and Lady Police are involved in security arrangements. According to the spokesperson, in addition to expert snipers, special personnel will also be deployed on the roofs around the stadium while there will be checkpoints at more than 50 places. Fans will be allowed to enter the stadium after biometric verification, walk-through gate, body search. Separate parking space has been allotted.
