RAWALPINDI: Security forces have successfully eliminated 8 terrorist linked to the Indian backed group Fitna al Hindustan in Kalat district, Baluchistan
According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, the operation followed a major crackdown in the area, during which four terrorist were killed than Security personnel launched a targeted sanitisation operation in the vicinity, resulting in the neutralisation of four more terrorists associated with the same group.
The security operation also led to the discovery of a terrorist hideout, where a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered. The ISPR emphasized that these efforts are part of Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to counter-terrorism and maintain peace and stability in Balochistan.
In a show of national unity and support, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for their swift and decisive action. President Zardari lauded the professionalism and bravery of the armed forces, stating, “The nation stands firmly with its security personnel in the fight against terrorism. We will not allow enemies of peace to succeed.”
Prime Minister Sharif reaffirmed the government’s dedication to eradicating terrorism, emphasizing that the operations against Fitna al Hindustan will continue until the threat is completely eliminated. “We are committed to safeguarding our sovereignty and ensuring the security of every citizen,” he added.
Both leaders underscored the importance of collective efforts in tackling extremism and reaffirmed their resolve to defeat those who seek to destabilize the country.
