RAWALPINDI: Security forces successfully conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan District, resulting in the elimination of 11 terrorists believed to be backed by India, according to the ISPR.
During the targeted operation, security personnel engaged the terrorist hideouts effectively, leading to the death of eleven individuals linked to Khwarij elements, with seven others sustaining injuries.Tragically, during the intense firefight, Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah displayed exceptional bravery and made the ultimate sacrifice, along with Lance Naik Jibran Ullah. Major Moiz was widely respected for his valor and had distinguished himself in numerous anti-terrorism operations.
The operation is ongoing, with security forces continuing to clear the area to root out any remaining Indian-supported terrorists.Pakistan’s security establishment remains committed to eradicating the threat of terrorism fueled by external sponsors, ensuring the safety and stability of the region.
Its very crucial to mention here that Major Sayed Maisir Abbas Shah of the Pakistan Army was the one who captured Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan alive.It is noteworthy that on February 27, 2019, Pakistan shot down two Indian fighter jets that violated the Line of Control, and one pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan, was captured alive.
