RAWALPINDI: Security forces have neutralized 23 militants associated with the Indian-backed group, Fitna Al Khwarij, in two separate operations conducted in the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
As per the ISPR, security forces launched a targeted operation based on intelligence reports about the presence of these militants. During the operation, an intense exchange of fire took place, resulting in the elimination of 12 militants.
In a second intelligence-based operation carried out in the same vicinity, security forces successfully neutralized 11 more militants.
Sanitization efforts are ongoing to eliminate any remaining individuals linked to this Indian-sponsored group. These actions are part of the wider “Azm-e-Istehkam” initiative, a counter-terrorism campaign aimed at eradicating foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
