PESHAWAR: The security forces killed 12 terrorist in South and North Waziristan, 6 soldiers martyred.
According to a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations, security forces detected a group of seven terrorists attempting to infiltrate the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan district on September 19. The infiltrators were besieged and engaged in a fierce firefight, leading to the elimination of all seven militants.
A significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the scene.
In a separate incident in the Ladha area of South Waziristan district, a group of terrorists attack on security forces.
Unfortunately, during the intense exchange of gunfire, six soldiers were also martyred.
The ISPR statement says sanitization operations are ongoing to ensure the area is cleared of any remaining terrorists. The security forces remain resolute in their mission to eradicate terrorism from the country, and the sacrifices of these brave soldiers only strengthen their determination.
